The month of October is dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness, and each year our President, Nardine Bellew, donates a percentage of revenue from General Safety Services to Breast Cancer Research. And by scheduling your window cleaning service for October, you can help her exceed last year's goal!
"Breast Cancer touches all our lives so please help us at General Safety Services knock out Breast Cancer by scheduling your Fall Window Cleaning in October. We are donating 2% of all October’s window cleaning revenues to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Please help us make this a success."
Designated in 1985, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign that raises awareness and funds for breast cancer. This disease is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women. Breast cancer in men is a real thing, too, but unfortunately, it's often overlooked. Experts report that Breast Cancer Awareness Month has helped bring the issues of dealing with cancer to light, and helped erase much of the stigma of having this disease. The promising statistic is that currently there are over 3 million breast cancer survivors alive in the United States. At GSS we believe that working together with our customers, we can help increase the number of survivors, decrease the number of instances, and contribute to this important research.
Thank you!
